1.0 Who We Are

ROOQX TECHNOLOGIES (“we,” “us,” “Rooqx”) operates a platform enabling business sellers to manage inventory, automate responses, and facilitate orders through WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy outlines how personal data is handled.

2.0 Controller vs. Processor Roles

For a Seller's own account data, we act as data controller. For a Seller's Customer data (names, phone numbers, order history, and chat messages), we act as data processor on the Seller's instruction. The Seller remains responsible for their customers' data under applicable law.

3.0 Information We Collect

• From Sellers: Name, business name, phone, email, location, WhatsApp Business Account details, billing info.
• From Customers: Phone number, name (if given), messages, order history, media sent via WhatsApp.

4.0 How We Use Information

Data is used exclusively to operate the Rooqx AI system, process payments, send order messages, and generate Seller insights. Customer data is not used for advertising beyond the Seller they messaged.

5.0 Sub-processors

We process data through enterprise infrastructure partners including Meta (message delivery), Groq (AI processing), Paystack (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). No data is sold.

6.0 Data Security & Storage

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Strict tenant isolation is enforced at the database level to ensure no seller can access another store's private information.
